Check-In Data Collection and Handling


As part of our mandatory check-in process, all guests must submit identification and reservation details prior to their tour. This is required by Sea San Blas to comply with Panamanian government regulations, transportation and insurance mandates, and internal risk management protocols.


This includes the collection of:


  • Full legal name
  • Passport number
  • A clear image of a valid passport or national ID
  • Contact details and reservation reference


All data submitted through the check-in process is transmitted over encrypted SSL connections and stored securely using modern encryption standards and access control protocols. This information is kept confidential, protected from unauthorized access, and used solely to fulfill legal, safety, and operational requirements.
